India is among the world's top ten coffee producers, with the Kodagu district of Karnataka earning international acclaim for its shade-grown Arabica and robust Robusta beans. For specialty roasters, green coffee importers, and food manufacturers seeking a reliable green coffee bean exporter in India, Karnataka offers a unique origin profile — bright acidity, clean cup, and traceable estate sourcing.
Why Karnataka Coffee Stands Apart
Grown at elevations of 900–1,500 metres under a natural canopy of silver oak and Grevillea trees, Karnataka Arabica develops complex flavour notes: mild citrus, soft stone fruit, and a clean, balanced finish. Robusta from Karnataka is preferred by Italian espresso blenders for its full body, natural crema, and lower acidity. The estate-grown, shade-grown nature of Karnataka coffee also aligns with sustainability and ethical sourcing mandates increasingly demanded by European and North American importers.

As a green coffee bean exporter in India, we supply three processing styles based on buyer preference and end-cup profile:
- Washed (Wet Process) — Clean, bright, consistent cup profile; preferred by Scandinavian and specialty roasters
- Natural (Dry Process) — Fruity, complex, wine-like notes; gaining popularity in Australia and the US
- Honey Process — Balanced between washed and natural; mild sweetness, versatile for single-origin and blends
Quality Assurance: From Farm to Export
Every lot we export undergoes multi-stage quality inspection: screen sizing, moisture check (target 10–12%), defect sorting, and a cupping session. Our pre-shipment COA covers moisture content, screen size, defect count, and cup score. Green coffee is packed in 60 kg premium jute bags with GrainPro inner liners to preserve freshness during ocean transit.
Coffee Board of India Compliance
All our green coffee exports are registered with the Coffee Board of India and comply with export quality standards. Documentation provided includes Coffee Board Export Certificate, Phytosanitary Certificate, Certificate of Origin, COA, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Bill of Lading.
